Elan 40 wins IRC Class C at Rolex Big Boat Series

Congratulations to Gerard Sheridan and his crew aboard the Humphreys designed Elan 40 “Tupelo Honey” for winning IRC Class C in this years Rolex Big Boat Series. After being awarded with the Atlantic Perpetual Trophy for winning IRC class C, Sheridan said, “the Big Boat was a major goal of ours. We have had a very solid crew for the last year and just basically put a lot of work and focus into it.” Tupelo Honey wrapped up the regatta with yesterday’s two bullets, but went out today to compete, winning and scoring a total eight points – all first-place finishes except for one second.
