1st in class & 2nd overall in ISCRS for Oyster Yachts 495 'Carpe Diem' and over 40 HYD designed competitors!

This past weekends Round the Island Race was by all accounts one to remember with fantastic conditions powering the boats around the Isle of Wight and giving the competitors some spectacular racing and plenty to talk about post-race!

Humphreys Yacht Design is extremely proud to have had over 40 HYD designed boats competing in this year’s race, a testament to their racing capabilities and the breadth of the HYD design portfolio.

Paul Adamson, Oyster Yachts CCO, stepped off Oyster 495 ‘Carpe Diem’ after finishing an impressive 1st in class and 2nd overall in ISCRS, to call and congratulate Rob & Tom on designing an ‘absolute dream’. The boat performed beautifully in the conditions with both the sailing, performance and handling facilitating the crew to such an outstanding result.
