With confidence returning to the big boat market the Humphreys studio has invested a great deal of time into the design of a contemporary, high performance composite cruising yacht. With an emphasis on fast cruising – as well as Superyacht regatta potential – the new 46m’s hull form is a highly refined, race-proven formula with strategically aligned chines allowing a low wetted area hull to develop significant power when it’s needed.
Fine tuning is being carried out on the studio’s in-house CFD platform, and a tank test programme is being planned to make sure that this yacht’s hydrodynamic performance will be as sharp as it can be.
