We’re excited that the production of the FastRig land-based demonstrator is complete and now installed on a former wind turbine site at Hunterston Parc, a facility owned by Peel Ports on the banks of the Clyde. The land-based demonstrator will provide an invaluable stepping stone in the development of the SGS FastRigTM rigid wing system, providing the team with the opportunity to validate and refine the design, engineering and control systems prior to the first ship board installation.
